Detangling your hair can sometimes be a pain! Make sure you detangle starting from the ends(tip) to the roots. You will eliminate the chances of breakage. Breakage can also come from combing/brushing your hair while dry. Your hair should be moisturized while detangling.
DETANGLING YOUR HAIR
This is the part most people dread! However, trimming split ends is vital to hair growth. The longer you avoid trimming, the more hair you'll lose in the end. Those split ends will continue to climd towards your roots. The higher they climb, the more hair you'll have to cut, or it will just break off!

PROTECTING YOUR HAIR WHILE SLEEP
Let's face it! Sleeping in a scraf or hair bonnet isn't very appealing, but it may be necessary for the maintenance of your hairstyle. Even if your hairstyle doesn't require either one, I still recommend investing in a satin pillowcase. Satin pillowcases won't suck the moisture out of your hair like cotton pillowcases and it helps to stop breakage.
